Job summary

Alfalogic Solutions in Oman is seeking a Java Consultant with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience who can join within 15 days and relocate to Muscat. The role requires strong expertise in Java stack and enterprise integration to support Muscat Municipality projects.

Responsibilities include designing and developing web forms (JSP, HTML, HTML5), Java and .NET components, web services and reports, as well as data migration, integration, and 24/7 support when needed.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in Java-based projects.
• Willingness to join within 15 days and relocate to Muscat, Oman.
• Experience with iSupport and JTF frameworks is preferred.
• Proficient in designing and developing web forms and services.

Responsibilities

• Designing solutions for new E-services and integration with existing systems.
• Developing web forms (JSP, HTML/HTML5), Java components, .NET, and web services.
• Creating and validating reports (HTML and PDF) and customizations within the implementation.
• Coordinating with Oracle Support and MM teams for TAR, UAT, and data migration tasks.
• Providing 7x24 support when required.

Job description

Alfalogic recruits Java Consultant with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience . The candidates who are selected for the project should be able to join in 15 days and relocate to Muscat , Oman.

Key Responsibilities

Java Technical Consultant

The Resources should have complete knowledge of iSupport programming framework and JTF framework along with complete technical knowledge on programming in JAVA, .NET, JSP, HTML, XML etc This will be required to design, develop and implement business scenarios for new processes and services support and resolve all problems and issues faced by Muscat municipality during support.

The Resources is expected handling the following tasks (but not limited to):

• Designing solution for new E-services
• Developing the web forms (JSP, HTML & HTML5), java forms, .NET, web services, reports (HTML & PDF) and the customizations within the implementation
• Applying the personalization needed in the standard iSupport web Forms
• Applying full test on the customized solution
• Will be part of project team member for development of business scenarios and test cases for UAT of upgraded system
• Coordinating with Oracle Metalink website for TAR and Web Conference supports for any Oracle CRM and Revenue related issues
• Responsible for any data migration required by Muscat Municipality
• Any integration required for any internal systems, external systems and external entities considering that all web services\APIs must be defined and created for all integrations.
• Knowledge transfer will be carried out during the support period to MM Team
• Provide 7x24 support when required

Application Support Activities

The Resource is expected handling the following tasks (but not limited to):

• Continuous on-site support to all application teams when required in case of difficulty in the usage of the application software.
• User support in case of corruption of application software if any, to get back to normal situation whenever possible.
• Support by Techno/Functional Consultant for any minor changes required in Application functionality and features.
• Application Changing, Problem solving, bug reporting, documentation clarification and technical guidance related to Application software.
• Give MM Users an application training whenever needed
• Coordinating with Oracle Support website for Service Requests and Web Conference supports for any Oracle EBS R12 and above releases (appsTier and dbTier) related issues
