Job summary
Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC is seeking an IT Specialist to oversee the day-to-day IT operations, ensuring that hotel technology runs securely and efficiently in line with business needs. This role focuses on infrastructure, system support, cybersecurity, and technology projects to enhance operations and the guest experience.
You will manage IT infrastructure, support PMS/POS, and assist with guest-facing technologies, while ensuring compliance with IHG standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of IT support, coordination, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, LAN/WAN, and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing iOS and Android devices.
- English fluency; Arabic is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot hotel IT infrastructure and devices.
- Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software systems.
- Provide timely technical support to hotel colleagues and departments.
- Monitor network, server, email, and business applications performance.
- Support hotel systems including PMS, POS, Wi-Fi, and guest-facing tech.
