Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a dual-role Project Manager/Business Analyst to oversee IT projects and drive business analysis activities. This role involves coordinating with clients, executives, and IT teams to ensure timely, quality deliverables and effective testing of business requirements.

The candidate should have substantial PM/BA experience, strong English communication, and banking domain exposure, including payment systems understanding.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in IT project management and business analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation.
• Proficient English language communication.
• Banking experience with knowledge of payment systems.
• Strong interpersonal relationship building, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Skills in data mapping, gap analysis, and system analysis.
• Understanding of business analysis and process improvement practices.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• BS/BA required; PMP and CBAP certifications preferred.
• Experience with data warehouses or databases and integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate & manage projects and resources, from ideation through post-production support.
• Liaise between business units, technology teams, and support teams; support the project through implementation and post-project support.
• Write requirements specifications using standard templates and tools.
• Decompose high-level business needs into structured requirements, use cases, user stories/scenarios, and business rules.
• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, verification, ensuring statements are complete, consistent, concise, traceable, and verifiable.
• Develop Business Requirements Document and represent requirements using models, prototypes, or scenarios.
• Participate in requirements prioritization and solution risk analysis.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and draft UAT test plans, test data, and test cases.
• Participate in testing and QA processes.
• Collaborate with developers and end-users to ensure functionality meets client needs and coordinate enhancements.
• Collaborate with SMEs to establish the technical vision and trade-offs between usability and performance.
