Job summary

Techno Gears Industries in Oman seeks a warehouse materials controller to manage incoming materials, verify against POs, and maintain accurate stock records. You will ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation, issue materials against requisitions, and monitor stock levels for timely replenishment.

Responsibilities include regular stock verification, maintaining GRN/MRN records, coordinating with Procurement/Production/Accounts, and ensuring compliance with HSE and audit standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, labelling, and preservation of materials.
• Issue materials to departments against approved material requisitions.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
• Maintain minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of steel, plates, sections, consumables, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor material movement, inward and outward transactions.
• Maintain GRN, MRN, issue slips, and stock transfer records.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Projects, and Accounts departments.
• Follow up on pending deliveries and shortages with Procurement.
• Identify and report damaged, excess, obsolete, and slow-moving materials.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safe storage practices.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, HSE requirements, and audit standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
• Maintain proper documentation for internal and external audits.
• Control material wastage, pilferage, and unauthorized issues.
• Monitor tools and equipment issued to employees and ensure timely returns.
• Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and storage facilities.
