  • Administer and configure middleware platforms, Enterprise Service Buses (ESBs), API gateways, and microservices integration layers.
  • Write optimized SQL queries and utilize foundational database knowledge to validate data integrity across integrated systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineering teams, IT infrastructure units, and third-party vendors to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for API endpoints, integration workflows, and data mapping specifications.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven professional experience as an Integration Specialist, Middleware Engineer, or Senior Software Developer in enterprise environments.
  • Deep technical proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, web services protocols, JSON, and XML data structures.
  • Hands-on experience working with middleware platforms, enterprise integration buses, and third-party system connectors.
  • Solid understanding of API security mechanisms including OAuth, API keys, and authorization tokens.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of SQL querying, relational databases, and database transaction management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in API troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data synchronization monitoring.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Hands-on exposure to cloud integration platforms (iPaaS) such as Azure Integration Services, Boomi, or MuleSoft.
  • Experience configuring enterprise API gateways (e.g., Apigee, Kong, WSO2) and microservices architectures.
  • Prior professional experience supporting IT infrastructure and digital transformation projects across Oman or the GCC region.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture patterns using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Event Hubs.
