Job summary

SnapReach Media in Oman is seeking an experienced Indian Executive Chef to lead our high-end kitchen in Al Buraymi, overseeing menu development, culinary operations, and ensuring consistent quality.

You will train and manage kitchen staff, create modern Indian menus with local ingredients, coordinate with suppliers, monitor costs, and maintain strict health and safety standards; accommodation and visa sponsorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
• Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine with a creative flair for modern interpretation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Understanding of food costing, inventory management, and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with international cuisine; knowledge of Arabic cuisine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
• Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Create new menus and recipes that showcase Indian cuisine with a modern twist
• Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure the use of fresh ingredients
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed by the kitchen staff at all times
• Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory, and kitchen operations
• Collaborate with restaurant management to create promotional events or special menus
