TANQUEEB is seeking an experienced HVAC/VRF Technician to operate, maintain and repair hotel air-conditioning systems. The role requires diagnosing VRF/VRV faults and keeping downtime to a minimum.
The technician will handle troubleshooting, refrigerant work, electrical diagnostics and preventive maintenance across guest rooms and plant rooms.
We are seeking an experienced HVAC / VRF Technician to be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the hotel’s complete air-conditioning systems.
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with VRF/VRV systems and should be capable of independently diagnosing electrical, electronic, refrigerant and mechanical faults.
This is not only a preventive-maintenance position. The technician must be able to identify the actual cause of HVAC failures, repair equipment where practical, replace defective components and return systems to normal operation with minimum downtime.
Operate, inspect, service and maintain hotel VRF/VRV systems.
Troubleshoot VRF outdoor units, indoor units and complete refrigerant networks.
Diagnose system error codes using manufacturer service manuals and diagnostic tools.
Diagnose and repair:
PCB/control-board faults
Inverter-board faults
Compressor faults
Fan motors
Outdoor fan motors
Electronic Expansion Valves (EEVs)
Solenoid valves
Pressure sensors
Temperature sensors / thermistors
Communication faults between indoor and outdoor units
Power-supply and control-wiring faults
Refrigerant-related faults
Determine whether a component should be repaired or replaced.
Replace outdoor-unit and indoor-unit components when required.
Carry out proper VRF commissioning and testing following repairs.
Identify refrigerant leaks accurately.
Perform nitrogen pressure testing.
Perform vacuuming using a proper vacuum pump and micron gauge.
Charge refrigerant according to manufacturer specifications.
Recover refrigerant safely when necessary.
Carry out copper pipe brazing.
Repair or replace damaged refrigerant piping.
Understand refrigerant pipe sizing and VRF branch joints.
Check system operating pressures and temperatures.
Diagnose undercharge, overcharge, restrictions and refrigerant-flow problems.
The technician must be comfortable using:
Digital multimeter
Clamp meter
Megger / insulation resistance tester
Temperature probes
Refrigerant gauges
Vacuum gauge
Manufacturer diagnostic equipment
Must be capable of troubleshooting:
Three-phase and single-phase electrical systems
Contactors and relays
Circuit breakers
Control transformers
Sensors
