Job summary

Como Facilities Management Services is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to inspect, maintain and repair HVAC systems at a remote camp site in Oman. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults and responding to breakdowns and emergency calls.

The ideal candidate holds an ITI or Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration or Air Conditioning with 3–5 years of hands-on experience, and has strong knowledge of Permit-to-Work procedures and HSE at remote sites.

Qualifications

• Experience: minimum 3–5 years.
• ITI/Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration or Air Conditioning.
• Remote camp experience is required.
• Permit-to-Work experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults.
• Attend breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls.
• Check compressors, motors, thermostats, filters and control panels.
• Complete work orders, checklists and maintenance records.
• Obtain and comply with Permit to Work before starting activities.
• Follow all HSE and remote-site operating procedures.
