Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled HVAC Supervisor for Al Baleed Resort Salalah. You will oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC systems to ensure guest comfort, safety, and adherence to brand standards.

You will lead a team of technicians, implement preventive maintenance programs for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and air-conditioning, and coordinate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC, refrigeration or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant HVAC experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills; safety compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of HVAC technicians and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and resolve HVAC-related issues promptly.
• Maintain comfortable temperatures and proper ventilation in guest areas and back-of-house.
• Monitor energy consumption and equipment performance to improve efficiency.
• Ensure safety procedures and hotel standards are followed.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and suppliers to support operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of HVAC technicians and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and ensure prompt resolution of HVAC-related complaints and breakdowns.
• Maintain comfortable temperatures and proper ventilation in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Monitor equipment performance and energy consumption to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental requirements, and hotel operating standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment inspection reports.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments, contractors, and suppliers to support smooth operations.

Qualifications And Experience

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant HVAC experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, preventive maintenance, safety procedures, and energy conservation.
