Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of all HVAC systems across our Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara. In this role you will ensure guest comfort, safety and energy efficiency while upholding our standards of hospitality.

You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate with contractors, and maintain records and reports. A diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or Refrigeration plus 3–5 years of hotel

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Refrigeration.
• 3–5 years of HVAC experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of energy conservation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily HVAC technicians and ensure timely maintenance tasks.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and A/C systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and resolve HVAC-related issues.
• Maintain comfortable temperatures and ventilation in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Monitor equipment performance and energy use to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Ensure safety procedures, environmental requirements, and hotel operating standards.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment inspection reports.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments, contractors, and suppliers to support smooth operations.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of HVAC technicians and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and ensure prompt resolution of HVAC-related complaints and breakdowns.
• Maintain comfortable temperatures and proper ventilation in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Monitor equipment performance and energy consumption to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental requirements, and hotel operating standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment inspection reports.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments, contractors, and suppliers to support smooth operations.

Qualifications And Experience

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HVAC experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, preventive maintenance, safety procedures, and energy conservation.
