Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts in Salalah, Oman, seeks a qualified HVAC Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC systems across the resort. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure guest comfort, safety, and adherence to hotel standards, and drive energy-efficient practices.

The role requires a diploma/degree in a relevant technical field and 3–5 years of hotel/resort HVAC experience, with preferred supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant HVAC experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, preventive maintenance, safety procedures, and energy conservation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of HVAC technicians and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and ensure prompt resolution of HVAC-related complaints and breakdowns.
• Maintain comfortable temperatures and proper ventilation in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Monitor equipment performance and energy consumption to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental requirements, and hotel operating standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment inspection reports.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments, contractors, and suppliers to support smooth operations.
