Job summary

The Sultan’s School in Oman is seeking an experienced Head of Learning Support / Inclusion to lead its Secondary Additional Support provision from August 2026. You will develop personalised support for students with learning and language needs and work with teachers, leaders, parents and external agencies to ensure the right provision is in place.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years post-qualifying teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related subject is required.
• Professional teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of personalised learning and language support provision for Secondary students.
• Collaborate with teachers, leaders, parents and external agencies to ensure appropriate provision.
• Shape and strengthen inclusive practice across the school and provide guidance and CPD for staff.
• Monitor student progress and impact of support provisions and adjust as needed.
• Contribute strategically to school improvement and raise the profile of Inclusion across the school and wider community.
