Job summary
The Sultan’s School in Oman is seeking an inspirational Secondary Performing Arts Teacher with Music as the lead subject to join in August 2027. You will inspire students in the classroom and through performances, productions and wider opportunities, developing a vibrant culture of creativity across the school.
The successful candidate will bring energy, ideas and personality to the role, and will develop links with the Muscat community, helping students perform beyond the school while
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years post-qualifying teaching experience.
- Bachelor's degree closely related to teaching subject.
- Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent.
- Under 60 years of age due to visa restrictions.
- Safer recruitment checks will apply.
Responsibilities
- Lead music and performing arts across the department.
- Develop musical performances, productions and extracurricular opportunities.
- Create opportunities for students to perform beyond the school.
- Contribute to a vibrant culture of creativity across the school.
- Engage with the wider Muscat community.
