Job summary

Marriott International, W Hotels in Oman seeks a Training and Development Leader to drive the training strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and values.

You will design and deliver programs on product knowledge, customer service, leadership, and brand philosophy, and measure ROI. Collaborate with executive teams to build management development and ensure guest-excellence across properties.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree plus 2 years experience in HR or related professional area; certified trainer
• OR
• 4-year degree; certified trainer; no work experience required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates property compliance training programs (CPR, PAR, Fire Safety, OSHA, etc.)
• Executes orientation, leadership skills, trainer certification, diversity training, and management development initiatives
• Develops, implements, and maintains training calendars and orientation programs
• Measures transfer of learning to operations and tracks KPIs (guest satisfaction, retention, financial results)
• Coaches managers to enhance performance and develop supervisory skills
• Ensures adult learning principles are incorporated into programs
• Drives brand values and philosophy in all training and development activities
• Works with leadership to identify development needs of managers and staff
