Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Host/Hostess or similar guest-facing role.
• Experience in hotel, resort, fine-dining or premium hospitality preferred.
• Good verbal and written English communication.
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of reservations and table management.
• Professional grooming, positive attitude and welcoming personality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage seating arrangements, reservations, waiting lists and table allocation.
• Confirm reservations and handle inquiries via phone, email, or online platforms.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus as required.
• Coordinate with waiters, supervisors and management to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor table availability and guest flow during busy periods.
• Handle guest requests, inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and guest information.
• Support VIP guest arrangements and special occasions.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Follow restaurant service standards and company policies.
