Job summary

Mediterranean Gate Business & Trading LLC in Muscat seeks a senior leader to own growth, profitability and discipline across the five units. You will set targets, delegate authority, and build repeatable systems, with a path to Group Executive Director based on results.

You will develop a three-year strategy, plan budgets, and lead brand positioning across Best Choice Ceramics, Casalux, Al Raqi, MG Finishing, and MG Distribution while driving project channels and ERP adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance or related field; MBA strong plus.
• 10+ years experience including 5+ years in leadership with P&L responsibility.
• Experience in building materials, ceramics, finishing or luxury retail; mix of retail and projects preferred.
• Track record in numbers: sales growth, market share gains, profitability improvements.
• Experience managing multiple units or companies and building systems from scratch.
• Strong network in Oman or GCC: developers, contractors, consultants.
• Experience negotiating with European suppliers (Italian/Spanish) and handling exclusive agencies.
• Strong financial skills: budgets, P&L, cash flow, project pricing, working capital.
• Fluent Arabic and English; driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop a 3-year group strategy and annual unit plans and budgets.
• Study the Omani market and set each brand's positioning and price policy.
• Prepare feasibility studies for new branches, brands, and partnerships.
• Grow market share with targets per showroom and channel, and improve product range and margins.
• Lead Casalux launch to position as Oman’s luxury Italian finishing materials destination.
• Set operating systems from order intake to delivery and collection; improve productivity and margins.
• Build wholesale network, review profitability of brands, and manage stock and logistics.
• Run weekly operations meetings, monthly unit reviews, and report to CEO.
