Job summary

Elsewedy Electric in Oman invites applicants for a role supporting international procurement operations by handling supplier communications, documentation, tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery aligned with production needs.

You will identify international suppliers, prepare purchase orders, monitor shipments, maintain ERP records, and coordinate with logistics and internal teams to ensure accurate execution and compliance with procurement policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Administration.
• Proficient in English and Arabic.
• 2-3 years in foreign procurement or supply chain.
• Basic procurement training or CIPS Level 2 preferred.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP, MS Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and communicating with international suppliers for quotations and order confirmations.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in specifications, pricing, and delivery terms.
• Track shipments and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and customs clearance.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation in ERP systems.
• Support supplier evaluation processes and maintain updated vendor databases.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement activities with production schedules.
• Resolve minor discrepancies in orders, invoices, and deliveries in coordination with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and international trade regulations.
