Job summary

• Follow relevant Logistics and Procurement instructions to ensure controlled work.
• Manage day-to-day logistics operations for continuity.
• Forecast and assess material requirements for support operations.
• Resolve purchasing issues while ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Develop relationships with vendors to ensure product availability.

Job description

• Follow all relevant Logistics and Procurement instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Follow day-to-day operations related to Logistics and Procurement to ensure continuity of work.
• Assess operational requirements and ensure the availability of material quantities to support operations.
• Forecast inventory requirements for departments to ensure materials are readily available.
• Resolve complex purchasing issues escalated from buyers while considering cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure the availability of goods with the required quality, price, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Skills

• Knowledge of procurement, logistics, and supplier management.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
