Job summary

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement for goods and services across our Saudi operations. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with finance, stores, and operations to optimize costs and inventory levels.

Ideal candidates bring 3–7+ years in purchasing or SCM, with ERP experience (SAP or Oracle NetSuite) and strong negotiation skills. Expertise in cost control, budgeting, and supplier performance is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• CIPS or similar procurement certification is an advantage.
• 3–7+ years in purchasing, procurement, or SCM.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle NetSuite.
• Proficiency in Excel for analysis and cost tracking.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Purchasing Manager oversees the procurement of goods and services, ensuring they are obtained at the best quality, cost, and timing. The role involves managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal departments to maintain efficient inventory levels, control costs, and ensure smooth operational supply.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support operational needs and cost efficiency

• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services

• Coordinate with departments (finance, stores, operations) to identify purchasing needs


• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures


• Control purchasing costs and identify opportunities for savings


• Review and approve purchase requests and quotations

• Monitor inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or overstocking


• Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, damaged goods, or discrepancies
