Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related discipline.
• ACCA/CPA/CMA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance experience.
• Experience leading a small team in a service-based industry.
• Strong management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and administration function across the Oman business.
• Manage and develop a team of three finance and administration professionals.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close activities.
• Prepare management accounts, board reports and detailed financial analysis.
• Monitor budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Develop rolling forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Drive improvements in profitability, working capital and financial performance.
• Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of financial records.
• Review revenue recognition, accruals, prepayments and financial adjustments.
• Monitor project profitability, job costing and project accounting activities.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury operations.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls and governance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local taxation, VAT and statutory requirements.
• Lead external audits and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, government bodies and external advisers.
• Oversee finance systems and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Identify opportunities for automation, reporting enhancements and process improvements.
• Partner with operational leaders to support strategic and commercial decisions.
• Deliver financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Support business planning, investment decisions and special projects.
