Job summary

Case in Point, LLC. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function in Muscat, Oman. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and sound management of project budgets, costs, and cash flows for a six-month on-site engagement.

The role emphasizes project accounting, forecasting, IFRS adherence, ERP coordination, and strong leadership to drive financial insights for business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems and coordinating with project, procurement, and commercial teams.
• Strong analytical and financial problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting, month-end closing activities, and management reporting.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with inputs from project and operational teams.
• Monitor project profitability, cost-to-complete estimates, and budget variances; recommend actions.
• Manage project accounting activities (WIP, progress billings, retention balances, advances, subcontractor payments).
• Review financial implications of contracts, variations, and claims with commercial/project teams.
• Oversee revenue recognition and project cost allocation per standards and policies.
• Manage cash flow forecasts, working capital, collections, banking relationships, guarantees, and financing needs.
• Maintain internal controls and coordinate audits; ensure tax/regulatory compliance.
• Provide financial analysis to support tender pricing and capex decisions; improve finance processes and ERP reporting.
