Job summary

Aspire is seeking a Finance Head to lead financial management for its MEP and construction operations in Muscat, Oman. The role will oversee planning, reporting, controls, compliance, and business partnering across projects and corporate activities.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, project profitability, and regulatory matters, lead a finance team, and partner with management to drive commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
• Experience with construction or MEP project accounting, job costing, progress billing, variations, retention, and contract profitability.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and provide clear commercial recommendations to senior management.
• Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems, advanced spreadsheets, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Knowledge of internal controls, audit coordination, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial risk management.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and financial analysis for the business.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Monitor project profitability, costs, commitments, variations, billing, and collections.
• Strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, approvals, and financial governance.
• Manage statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements in coordination with external advisors.
• Provide financial insights to support procurement, tendering, contract management, and operational decisions.
• Supervise finance team activities, improve processes, and ensure timely transaction processing and reconciliations.
