Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking a finance professional in Muscat to lead month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and intercompany processes. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration across departments, and strong financial governance.

Responsibilities include monthly reports with variance insights, reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and cost-control activities, plus insurance coordination. A CMA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Professional finance certification CMA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Proficiency in written communication, costing & budgeting, financial accounting, Office 365, and SAP S4 Hana or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly flash and IFRP reports with variance analysis and key performance insights.
• Ensure accurate month-end closing with all reconciliations and accruals completed.
• Oversee approvals, ICM settlements, and cost control activities.
• Manage daily bank, cash, and receipt reconciliations, ensuring control over funds.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and drive efficiency through automation.
• Arrange for and handle all insurance coverage and claims related to insurance.
• Review and verify insurance data accurately and process claims in a timely manner.
