Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to support customers across upstream oil & gas. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Wellhead & Pressure Control equipment, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

The position requires hands-on field experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel extensively to customer sites across the region.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of upstream oil & gas field experience.
• Experience with Wellhead & Pressure Control Equipment.
• Hands-on experience with Wellheads, Xmas Trees, Valves, Actuators, Flowlines and piping systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Wellhead & Pressure Control equipment.
• Perform pressure testing in accordance with API standards.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Support well completion activities including installation of wellheads and Christmas Trees.
• Provide technical support and equipment orientation to customers.
• Complete accurate service reports and document field activities.
• Maintain safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
