Job summary

Gender is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for field service and maintenance in Oman. The role focuses on VSD maintenance, ESP operation, and on-site execution with strict HSE compliance. You will diagnose, calibrate, install, and optimize systems, read schematics, and document reports.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 4 years in maintenance, preferably in oil & gas, with proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance field.
• Oil and Gas experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• VSD maintenance and repair including diagnostics and calibration.

Job Description

1. 1. VSD Maintenance & Repair: - Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs on Low-voltage VSDs.- Troubleshoot power electronics, IGBTs, control boards, cooling systems, and harmonic filters.- Conduct power quality analysis and waveform capture.
2. 2. ESP Operation & Optimization: - Install, commission, and troubleshoot ESP systems (motor, pump, seal, sensor, surface VSD).- Monitor ESP performance data (amperage, vibration, temperature, pressure) to optimize run life and efficiency.
3. 3. Field Service Execution: - Lead on-site interventions independently, including emergency breakdown support.- Read and understand electrical schematics and control system diagrams.- Ensure work complies with HSE standards (LOTO, arc flash, confined space).

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills and Qualif i cations: Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering. Minimum 4 years of experience in Maintenance field. Previous Oil and Gas experience is required. Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems. Good reporting and documentation skills.
