Job summary

GGGI Oman seeks a Community Engagement & Campaign Assistant (Animator) based in Salalah, Dhofar. The role mobilizes agropastoral communities to adopt NbS under ARISE, conducts KAP surveys, FGDs, and field observations, and supports MEL data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities include event logistics, stakeholder engagement, and leading a network of volunteers to scale the BICAB campaign while ensuring gender equality and social inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in community development, social work, agriculture, environmental studies, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years in grassroots campaigning, community mobilization, or field surveying.
• Experience with international organizations or NGOs is a plus.
• Strong MS Office and ERP familiarity is advantageous.
• Native-level Arabic with English working proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistical support to local events and meetings with beneficiaries.
• Support communications and community engagement with local communities, schools, and livestock owners.
• Serve as frontline data collectors for MEL with FGDs and mobile surveys.
• Facilitate KAP surveys and focus group discussions.
• Promote sustainable rangeland practices through NbS and the ARISE program.
• Support reporting and knowledge management tasks.
