Zusammenfassung

Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) Oman is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Data Officer to support the ARISE Program in Salalah. The role focuses on coordinating MEL activities, data collection, and reporting to ensure results tracking across the six-year initiative.

The candidate should hold a Master’s degree with 5+ years of MEL experience in international development, and be proficient in R, Python, MAXQDA, Kobo Toolbox, and Ona.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or equivalent in economics, statistics, data science, environmental science, development studies or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional MEL, data analysis, and program development experience in large-scale international development or climate finance projects.
• Demonstrated expertise with quantitative and qualitative data analysis software and advanced Excel.
• Experience using mobile data collection platforms and developing user-friendly digital survey forms.
• Strong written and verbal English; Arabic language is an asset.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate the implementation and periodic review of MEL framework and MEL Plan for the Oman ARISE Program.
• Support updates to TOC and DIP based on field validations and data collection.
• Coordinate and execute formal baseline assessments including GIS data, GHG tracking, and socio-economic data.
• Collaborate to design mobile data collection tools and dashboards for monitoring and evaluation.
• Compile lessons learned and best practices to refine adaptive management strategies.
• Engage with government stakeholders and partners to align MEL methodologies with national systems.
