Job summary

Crowne Plaza in Muscat is seeking an F&B Outlet Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the outlet, ensuring guest satisfaction, high standards, and efficient service. You will lead the F&B team across shifts and support the Outlet Manager in revenue and cost-control.

You will supervise service, manage inventories, train staff, and maintain hygiene and presentation standards while promoting upselling and guest engagement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 2–3 years experience in F&B operations, hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Supervisory experience in an F&B outlet.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage service standards.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems and F&B reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of the assigned F&B outlet and ensure smooth service.
• Prepare outlet before opening and close properly after service.
• Allocate duties and stations to team members based on business levels.
• Monitor guest flow, table allocation, service sequence and efficiency.
• Ensure food and beverage are served to quality standards.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with departments for availability.
• Assist with inventory, requisitions, receiving, storage and stock control.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper handling and maintenance.
• Ensure outlet is clean, organized, and hotel standards are met.
• Deliver friendly, professional, personalized service.
• Welcome guests and address needs promptly.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Brief team before shifts on reservations, VIPs, promotions.
• Coach and train team members to meet service standards.
• Support onboarding and training of new staff.
• Encourage teamwork and professional communication.
• Ensure grooming, punctuality, attendance and hygiene standards.
• Assist Outlet Manager with evaluations and staff development.
