Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance specialist to service and troubleshoot F-16 Block 50 aircraft, focusing on engines, airframe components, and electro‑mechanical systems. The role includes conducting major and routine inspections, oiling and servicing, and ensuring thorough documentation of maintenance actions.

Responsibilities cover removal/install of components, system tests, and coordination with maintenance leadership to maintain fleet readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience on like aircraft.
• High school graduate or GED with a certificate of completion.

Responsibilities

• Keeps airplane in safe working condition by servicing engines, engine components, and airframe components.
• Performs routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of electro‑mechanical systems and components on the aircraft at the organizational level of maintenance.
• Maintains, inspects, and services aircraft; conducts phase inspections and maintenance as per procedures.
• Provides on‑the‑job training to technicians and supports maintenance leadership when required.
