Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to keep aircraft in safe operating condition by servicing engines, airframe and related systems. The role focuses on troubleshooting, installation, repair, and performing routine and phase inspections on military aircraft.

The candidate will work with maintenance data systems and provide on‑the‑job training to technicians, ensuring compliance with documentation and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience on like aircraft.
• Experience in all aspects of intermediate level maintenance on F-16 Block 50 Aircraft.
• Experience in Phase Inspections and all aspects of scheduled maintenance.
• Experience providing OJT to technicians.

Responsibilities

• Keep airplane in safe working condition by servicing engines, engine components, and airframe components.
• Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical systems on the aircraft.
• Perform end-of-runway, postflight, preflight, thru-flight inspections and phase inspections.
• Inspect and identify aircraft corrosion and ensure complete documentation of maintenance records.
• Interpret maintenance procedures and policies to repair aircraft and related equipment.
