Job summary

GlowUp Kuwait in Muscat, Oman, seeks an Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations and ensure consistently high-quality dining experiences for guests. You will manage menu development, staff training, and food safety, while driving cost controls and collaboration with management on pricing strategies.

The ideal candidate has proven experience as an Executive Chef in high-volume settings, strong knowledge of cooking methods, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Culinary degree or equivalent work experience; food safety certification preferred.

We are a renowned restaurant in Muscat Oman seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team

As an Executive Chef you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food is consistently delivered to our guests

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop menus that meet our restaurants standards and customer preferences
• Supervise and train kitchen staff ensuring they adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
• Oversee food preparation, cooking and presentation to maintain quality standards
• Manage inventory levels and control food costs
• Create new dishes and update current menus with seasonal items
• Collaborate with management to develop pricing strategies for menu items
• Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
• In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures
• Ability to manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English Arabic is a plus

Qualifications
