KalSoft in Muscat is seeking a Junior Infrastructure Trainee Engineer to join our team. This entry-level role targets Omani nationals with a background in Computer Science or IT and focuses on IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365, networking, backup, and technical support.

The candidate should be a quick learner with good problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to grow in an IT infrastructure and technical support environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or entry-level candidate.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and networking beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic IT help desk and technical support to users.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Assist with Microsoft 365 administration and user account support.
• Assist with Veeam backup activities and basic backup monitoring.
• Assist with website and domain administration and publishing.
• Monitor and report basic email security issues (spoofing, spam, scams).
• Assist with network support (switches, WAPs, VLANs, DHCP).
• Provide basic support for printers, CCTV/DVR, and other IT hardware.
• Troubleshoot user and network issues and escalate incidents when required.
• Document IT environments, configurations, incidents, and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain basic IT reports using Excel, pivot tables, graphs, and charts.
• Assist in identifying security vulnerabilities and supporting EDR/MDR security solutions.
