Job summary

Experience seeks a Lead Engineer Energy Performance to lead the energy management program across OQEP-operated assets in Oman. You will develop, implement and maintain the Energy Management System (EnMS), drive data collection, performance indicators, and reporting to management.

You will bring a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Energy Engineering and 8+ years in engineering and energy management, with ISO 50001 expertise and mandatory ISO Lead Auditor certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process/Chemical or Energy Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical, electrical or process engineering or energy management.
• Proven experience implementing ISO 50001 EnMS with energy reviews, SEUs, and EnPIs.
• ISO Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is mandatory.
• CEM certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and operation of EnMS across all operated assets.
• Develop and review the EnMS manual, procedures, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct periodic energy reviews to identify SEUs and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate EnMT meetings and maintain agendas/minutes.
• Develop and maintain the Energy Data Collection Plan and ensure timely submission of energy data.
• Establish, maintain, and monitor EnPIs and baselines; track progress towards objectives.
• Provide technical support and follow-up on energy-related initiatives with asset owners.
• Act as liaison between Technical Services and Sustainability/Operations on energy management matters.
• Lead energy efficiency, decarbonization, and optimization projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Promote energy policy and conduct EnMS awareness/training across the organization.
• Plan and implement the EnMS audit program and manage corrective actions.
• Identify and implement innovative technologies and best practices for energy performance.
