Job summary

OQ Exploration & Production in Oman – Muscat is seeking a Lead Engineer Energy Performance to lead energy management across OQEP-operated assets. You will develop and maintain the Energy Management System (EnMS), drive decarbonization initiatives, and deliver measurable energy cost savings.

You will conduct energy reviews, define SEUs, establish EnPIs and baselines, manage data collection, and lead the EnMS audit program with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process/Chemical, or Energy Engineering (required).
• Postgraduate qualification in Energy Management (preferred).
• ISO Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant energy/engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and effective operation of OQEP’s EnMS across all operated assets.
• Develop and maintain the EnMS manual, procedures, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct and coordinate periodic energy reviews to identify Significant Energy Uses (SEUs).
• Establish, monitor Energy Performance Indicators (EnPIs) and baselines; track progress toward targets.
• Plan, manage, and implement EnMS audits and certification activities.
