Job summary

Career Land Center Center is hiring an experienced Sous Chef for an F&B company in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will support daily kitchen operations, supervise junior chefs, and maintain consistent food quality to ensure smooth service in a high-volume setting.

The role requires strong leadership, HACCP compliance, and the ability to coordinate with service, stewarding, purchasing, and management teams. Relocation to Kuwait is expected, with competitive benefits provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef.
• Proven ability to lead kitchen teams and supervise staff.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, hygiene and food safety.
• Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef and senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise food preparation, mise en place, cooking, plating and service readiness.
• Ensure all dishes meet company standards and quality expectations.
• Guide and coach junior chefs during daily operations.
• Monitor food quality, portions, consistency and timing.
• Assist with menu execution, daily specials and presentation.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and HACCP compliance at all times.
• Coordinate with service, purchasing and management teams.
