Job summary

ELSA is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator in Muscat to support drilling and completion materials availability and shore base operations. You will coordinate material receiving, dispatch, and backload, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with import/export requirements.

The role requires strong English and Arabic communication, experience in onshore logistics, and proficiency in MS Office. You will work with offshore teams, vendors, and PMT to optimize logistics performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in Oil & Gas, with at least 5 years in Drilling Material Coordination or Logistics Supervision.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in onshore logistics operations, including loading, lifting, and HSE practices.
• Basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drilling and completion materials availability to support uninterrupted operations.
• Manage shore base operations, including materials, cargo handling, logistics movements, and vessel activities.
• Coordinate material receiving, dispatch, load-out, and backload activities with proper documentation.
• Maintain inventory records, track material usage, and support import/export compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with offshore teams, vendors, Well Engineering, Logistics, and PMT to support operational needs.
• Monitor vendor and supply base performance to ensure efficient logistics support.
• Manage OSV, aircraft, and marine logistics activities, including scheduling, mobilisation, and demobilisation.
• Ensure safe handling, transportation, and certification of materials, equipment, and Dangerous Goods.
• Support customs clearance, freight forwarding, shipping documentation, and equipment tracking.
• Oversee cargo handling, lifting activities, and stock movements to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain effective coordination with internal stakeholders and external authorities to ensure compliance with Company requirements.
