Job summary

Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Muscat is seeking a highly experienced Director of Human Resources to join the pre-opening leadership team. You will shape culture, talent strategy, and ensure compliance with Omani labor laws and international hospitality standards.

Lead HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, and performance management, building a luxury service-driven team ahead of the grand opening and aligning people strategy with the resort’s ambitious business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years HR leadership experience in luxury hospitality.
• Pre-opening or pre-opening-stage HR leadership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local labour law and international HR practices.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; excellent communication and leadership skills.

As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, talent strategy, and operational excellence of our luxury resort from the ground up. You will lead the HR team in aligning business objectives with employees and management, ensuring compliance with local laws and international hospitality standards, and creating a workplace environment synonymous with excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and development of a diverse team for all departments ahead of the resort s grand opening.
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Foster a high-performance, service-driven culture that reflects the values of a luxury brand.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience: Omani national. Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in Human Resources leadership roles within the luxury hospitality sector, preferably in a 5-star resort or hotel environment. Pre-opening experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Omani labor law and international HR best practices. Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master s preferred). Fluent in Arabic and English.
