Job summary

Baker Hughes in Oman seeks a Director of Sales Proposals - Integrated Solutions to lead end-to-end opportunities, coordinating region leadership, commercial operations, product lines, and technical focal points to craft winning strategies.

You will develop project plans, manage risks, model costs, negotiate with customers and vendors, and ensure OFSE framework compliance in a global matrix setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, commercial, or scientific discipline.
• 15+ years of oil and gas operator or service company experience.
• Experience leading integrated commercial bids.
• 5+ years of experience in integrated projects.
• Strong understanding of upstream business environment and technical/logistical elements.
• Knowledge of well engineering, construction, rigs, and technical solutions.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, analytical, decision-making, and planning skills.
• Experience working in a global matrix organization.
• Knowledge of business plans, project planning, project management methodology, and bid creation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all elements of I&S opportunities through the process to meet stage and gate deliverables.
• Coordinate with region leadership, commercial operations, I&S leadership, product lines, technical focal points, and vendors to build winning proposals or bids.
• Ensure adherence to company processes, OFSE principles, and I&S management system tools.
• Contribute to risk documentation, evaluation, and mitigation via I&S risk management processes.
• Draft initial project plans including risk, communications, sourcing, vendor management, schedule, and cost model.
• Ensure commercial models reflect ROI and profitability, working with internal stakeholders.
• Provide leadership for negotiations with customers, parties, vendors, and others.
• Handover contracts using SLA within COFA framework during mobilization to project teams.
