The role requires a Bachelor's in related field, 12+ years in landscape/infrastructure, and 5+ years in design leadership.

Qualifications

• Need a Bachelor's degree in landscape, civil, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 12 years in landscape, infrastructure, or public realm projects.
• At least 5 years in a Design Manager or senior design leadership role.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design, irrigation, utilities, and infrastructure coordination.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, and BIM preferred.

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design coordination and technical delivery of large-scale landscape, infrastructure, and public realm projects. The successful candidate will manage multidisciplinary design teams, oversee the design development process, coordinate with consultants and clients, and ensure all design deliverables meet project objectives, technical standards, and construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process from concept through detailed design and construction support.
• Coordinate landscape, civil, irrigation, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines to ensure fully integrated designs.
• Review and approve design drawings, technical reports, calculations, and specifications.
• Manage design consultants and ensure timely delivery of all design packages.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, and construction teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, local regulations, international standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct design reviews, value engineering workshops, and constructability assessments.
• Review material selections and technical submittals to ensure suitability and compliance.
• Support tendering activities by reviewing design documentation and providing technical clarifications.
• Monitor design progress against project schedules and proactively address potential delays.
• Lead technical meetings and coordinate responses to RFIs and design changes during construction.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor design engineers and coordinators.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement in design quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12 y years of experience in landscape, infrastructure, or public realm projects.
• At least 5 y years in a Design Manager or senior design leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design, grading, hardscape, irrigation, utilities, and infrastructure coordination.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and design for constructability.
• Experience leading value engineering and design optimization initiatives.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, BIM platforms, and other design software is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Saudi Arabia project experience is highly preferred.
