Job summary

ConFlip in Khasab, Oman, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, lead menu planning, and manage all kitchen staff to deliver consistently high-quality meals.

The role requires strong leadership, expert cooking techniques, strict food safety, inventory control, and budget-minded menu development. You will train staff, craft innovative dishes, and adapt to customer preferences; visa support preferred. Salary: 1700 USD per month (without accommodation).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, quality standards, and menu development.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Creativity in developing new dishes while also adhering to budget constraints.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop menus in collaboration with management.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards.
• Train and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other employees.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Create new dishes and recipes while also taking into consideration customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
