Job summary

Nada Happiness Trading LLC, a leading FMCG company in Oman, seeks a Chief Accountant to oversee all financial operations, ensure reporting accuracy, and drive strategic analysis. You will lead budgeting, costing, and working capital management while enhancing ERP workflows and internal controls.

The role requires CA/CMA or MBA with 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in FMCG, GCC exposure, and strong leadership capabilities to mentor the finance team.

Qualifications

• CA/CMA or MBA in Finance with 7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, costing, and working capital.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics ERP or equivalent systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Prepare and present timely MIS reports by business segment and category.
• Lead annual budgeting process and monitor cost variances.
• Manage receivables, monitor credit limits, and prepare ageing reports.

• Oversee all financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting
• Prepare and present timely MIS reports by business segment product category and customer
• Conduct variance analysis actual vs budget vs prior year and provide corrective recommendations
• Lead annual budgeting process across departments and monitor cost variances
• Maintain updated product costing and allocate manufacturing overheads appropriately
• Manage receivables monitor credit limits and prepare customer ageing reports
• Optimize inventory levels and track slow-moving stock
• Enhance ERP workflows Microsoft Dynamics and strengthen internal financial controls
• Review payroll accuracy and compliance
• Mentor and train finance team members to build capability and performance
• Support CFO Board and Audit Committee with analytical reports and presentations

• Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), or MBA in Finance.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably in FMCG or process-driven industries.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, costing, and working capital management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics ERP or equivalent financial systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Integrity, commitment to accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
• Candidates from GCC experience and Retail / FMCG candidates will be suitable.
