Job summary

A leading company in occupational safety seeks a BBS Supervisor in Oman to develop and maintain a Behavior-Based Safety program. The role includes observing employee behaviors and promoting safety culture improvements. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in occupational health, a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience, and relevant certifications like IOSH or NEBOSH. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably within the construction or oil and gas industry.
• IOSH, NEBOSH, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the BBS program, ensuring it aligns with organizational safety goals and regulatory requirements.
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to employees to reinforce safe behaviors.
• Maintain accurate records of observations, feedback, and safety performance metrics.
• Organize and develop safety campaigns and initiatives to promote safe behaviors.
• Communicate safety performance and BBS program updates to all levels of the organization.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the BBS program.
• Conduct regular behavioral observations to identify safe and unsafe practices.

Hours/rotation:

Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid)& 2 days traveling (paid). 10 hours per day (including 1 hour break)

Job Summary: TheBBS Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintainingthe Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) program within the organization. This rolefocuses on promoting safe work practices by observing employee behaviors,providing feedback, and driving safety culture improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement the BBS program, ensuringit aligns with organizational safety goals and regulatory requirements.
• Feedback and Coaching: Provide constructive feedback and coaching toemployees to reinforce safe behaviors and correct unsafe practices.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of observations,feedback, and safety performance metrics. Analyze data to identify trendsand areas for improvement.
• Safety Campaigns: Organize and develop and lead safety campaignsand initiatives to promote a safe behavioral attitude.
• Communication: Communicate safety performance and BBS programupdates to all levels of the organization, including management andemployees.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the BBSprogram based on feedback, data analysis, and industry best practices.
• Behavioral Observations: Conduct regular observations of employeebehaviors to identify safe and unsafe practices.
