Job summary

MetLife Gulf in Oman is seeking a Sales Manager to lead bancassurance product launches, train and guide bank partners, and manage relationships across key accounts. The role centers on driving growth, leveraging AI insights, and delivering measurable business impact through strategic partnerships with major banks in Oman.

You will oversee teams, drive training and campaigns, and ensure service levels while expanding to other bancassurance accounts.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience with a leading Life Insurance or Financial Institution, ideally bancassurance
• Demonstrate clear leadership skills and results-driven mindset
• Excellent communication skills in all forms
• Strong account & relationship management and customer orientation
• Problem solving and confident negotiation with upsell ability
• People management and cross-cultural collaboration
• Insurance qualification (LOMA or CII) is a plus
• Ability to leverage AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes

Responsibilities

• Manage the insurance business in designated banks for all lines of business
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales objectives and market share
• Train, guide, and manage IA/IS and RM teams
• Explore opportunities for new channels/segments/industries
• Align with MetLife strategy and cascade it within the team
• Leverage AI-powered tools and analytics to boost sales effectiveness and engagement
