Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Risk Management team in Oman. You will prospect, nurture, and secure new business opportunities with large corporate clients across the Omani market, reporting to the Oman Sales Leader.

Candidates from various sales backgrounds are welcome; experience in insurance or risk management is preferred but not essential. The role offers a competitive salary, commissions, and a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of direct sales experience, preferably in insurance or risk management.
• Proven track record of closing deals with large corporate clients.
• Familiarity with the Omani insurance market and regulations is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client relationships.
• Willingness to travel within Oman.

Responsibilities

• Leverage network within large Oman organizations to drive new sales.
• Understand client needs and present risk management and insurance solutions.
• Analyze local market trends and define sales strategies.
• Collaborate with Marsh teams to ensure compliant client service.
• Surpass individual and team sales targets to grow Marsh in Oman.
