Job summary

ISS International SpA in Oman invites applications for a Trainer in Automation to conduct a short course on PLC Programming. The training will be delivered in English and targets technicians and operators responsible for maintenance and instrumentation in refinery and petrochemical plants. The engagement is a Consultant Agreement with start TBD.

Duration is 2 training days, with a 9-hour schedule per day. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in Automation Engineering and strong hands-on PLC

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of Automation Engineering experience with PLC programming, commissioning and troubleshooting in refinery or petrochemical facilities.
• Minimum 4 years developing and delivering technical training for maintenance and instrumentation personnel.
• Experience with major PLC platforms (Siemens SIMATIC S7, Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Schneider Electric Modicon) and IEC 61131-3 programming languages.
• English fluency.

• Minimum 4 years in developing and delivering technical training for maintenance and instrumentation personnel.
• Experience with one or more major PLC platforms (e.g. Siemens SIMATIC S7, Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Schneider Electric Modicon or equivalent), including IEC 61131-3 programming languages, industrial communication protocols and integration with DCS, SCADA and field instrumentation.
• English Fluency
