Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks an Engineer Automation to support maintenance reliability and performance of automation, DCS PLC SCADA HMI systems across the Copper Concentrator Plant. The role ensures safe, cost-effective operation and compliance with standards, collaborating with Operations Reliability, Electrical Instrumentation, and Projects teams to optimize asset performance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Automation/Mechatronics and 5+ years in a copper or process plant,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or related discipline is mandatory.
5+ years in a Copper Concentrator Plant or similar process plant with relevant equipment preferred.
Experience supporting DCS PLC SCADA and industrial networks in mineral processing or related industries desired.

Responsibilities

Support maintenance activities for automation process control and industrial digital systems across the concentrator plant.
Assist in implementing maintenance strategies to improve system reliability and availability.
Provide technical support during commissioning startup and post-implementation verification.
