Job summary

Experience in Muscat, Oman is seeking an Automated Operations Engineer (1st Level Operations Telecommunication Managed Services) to provide specialized technical expertise on intelligent network systems. You will craft schema objects, develop dashboards, write automation scripts, and maintain, debug, and optimize systems for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 2–4 years of Operation & Maintenance experience.
• Experience in working with UOC OSS tools.
• Proficient in English communication.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for real-time monitoring alarms and performance information on a 24x7 basis
• Perform initial analysis to identify issues followed by restoration if possible (1st line of Support)
• Perform detection, classification, correlation, and accurate escalation of network incidents according to the escalation matrix
• Work with a variety of tools
• Be able to perform Alarm Surveillance, Trouble Ticket Management, Change Management Support for 1st Level Service Restoration Activities
• Be able to manage complaints from Customer Care
• Be able to ensure Adherence to all Processes
• Be responsible to evolve within the department / group and partner functions to maintain service levels
• Be able to execute Front office activities according to schedules defined by Shift Team Leaders/NOC Manager
• Be able to send/receive/follow up with trouble reports
• Be responsible for Remote Service Corrective, Preventive Maintenance
