Job summary

Engineering and Marketing International in the GCC seeks a Full-Time Oman Engineer to join the technical team and support oil and gas software deployments.

You will interface with clients for software implementation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and training, and travel to customer sites as needed. The role emphasizes reliability, problem solving, and willingness to learn while delivering high-quality service and timely responses. Strong communication and field support experience are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT/engineering field.
• Oman nationality is required.
• Driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites when needed.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients for software implementation, upgrades and training.
• Provide on-site or remote support to customers as needed.
• Ensure responsiveness and high quality service to client requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address resolutions and enhancements.

• Bachelor’s degree in ANY of the following majors: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Driver's license
• Ability to drive to customers’ locations to provide support – when needed
• Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude
• Responsible, hard worker, committed, willing to learn and able to follow instructions
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness to clients’ requests
• Client interface as needed for any of the following: software implementation or upgrade, problem resolution, enhancements, specialized reporting, training, etc.
