Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Oman is seeking an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Finance & Accounts to oversee plant finance and accounting activities. The role supports project accounting, budgeting and MIS reporting, and assists in financial analysis for business decisions.

The incumbent should have 2–7 years of post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant, with working knowledge of SAP and exposure to financial modelling to support costing and cash flow projections across

Qualifications

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2–7 years post-qualification experience.
Experience in plant finance and accounting in manufacturing preferred.
Proficient in budgeting, MIS reporting, project accounting and variance analysis.
Working knowledge of SAP and financial modelling exposure.

Responsibilities

Handle plant-level accounting including GL, journals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Assist in annual budgeting, forecasts, and financial planning.
Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements, and variance analysis.
Monitor project expenditure, CAPEX, CWIP, asset capitalization and costs.
Assist in financial modelling and cash flow projections.
Analyse operating costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support cash flow planning and working capital monitoring.
Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Collaborate with operations, project teams and corporate finance for accurate reporting.
