Job summary

Talabat in Oman seeks a DC Operations Leader to manage 3PL DC performance, audit, and stock control. You will drive cost-effective efficiency, lead recruitment and training, and partner with Demand Planning to align throughput with business goals.

The role requires 7+ years in warehousing, strong English, and proven leadership in fast-paced logistics environments. On-site position with focus on safety and performance.

Qualifications

• More than 7 years’ experience in warehousing operations and startup environments.
• Ability to analyze information accurately and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to manage team members effectively and drive performance.
• Ability to design and optimize processes with attention to detail.
• Deadline-oriented with a track record of delivering on time.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3PL DC performance end to end to achieve KPIs and develop KPIs as needed.
• Optimize 3PL operational performance and visit/audit DC operations weekly.
• Monitor daily DC stock, shrink, and implement cost controls.
• Partner with Demand Planning to forecast inbound/outbound stock and reduce waste.
• Lead process improvement projects using root cause analysis and data-driven insights.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, availability, and shrinkage control through audits.
• Plan centralization volume with Demand, Commercial, regional, and 3PL DC.
• Own monthly and annual DC P&L and review financials.
• Oversee workforce planning and cost allocation across the DC.
• Hire, onboard, and train department staff; coach supervisors and frontline teams.
• Drive accountability, attendance, and productivity for our staff and 3PL DC.
• Select and onboard new 3PL partners in collaboration with procurement and regional teams.
• Collaborate across Demand Planning, Commercial, Procurement, and Inventory to align throughput with business outcomes.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance within the 3PL facility.

• Lead the hiring, onboarding, and technical training for your specific department to ensure a high-performing talent bench.
• Manage and coach a team of Supervisors and frontline staff, focusing on succession planning and performance management.
• Drive a culture of accountability and high engagement, managing attendance and productivity metrics of our own staff and the 3PL DC.
• Study, Scout & select with procurement and regional team new 3PL partners in case tMart needs to switch Vendors
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Commercial, Procurement, and Inventory teams to align DC throughput with broader business outcomes.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance of our DC Talabat members within the 3PL Facility
